Power of Creation

In episode 2 of “Between Thoughts” we discuss our upcoming “Power of Creation Statement”, and Gratitude song. We also discuss methods of shifting your focus internally to change what you are creating externally, as well as other techniques to refocus your thoughts to manifest more positively. Your current experiences and external world reflect your past beliefs and thoughts, this is why it is so important to change focus now as your future is created in this very moment.

Other techniques we discuss are “stop creating the misery,” releasing blocks and cutting cords, gratitude lists and setting positive intentions before entering situations throughout your day. Speaking with your Guardian Angels and inviting them to help you is another way to change your focus, asking them to show you signs as a confirmation they are helping you provides proof they are always around you waiting to be asked. It really is important because recurring blocks and repetitive life patterns will keep showing up in your life until they are blessed, healed and released.

Episode 02 Transcript:

Carol: Welcome to the Between Thoughts podcast, episode two, and we don’t really know what we’re going to talk about today.

Diane: So today is December 28th.

Carol: See where the wind blows us day.

Diane: Yeah, that’s true. And how was your Christmas?

Carol: My Christmas was very good.

Diane: Very nice. Very nice.

Carol: Too short, as usual.

Diane: Did you have snow? We even had some snow.

Carol: Yeah, a little bit.

Diane: Nice, right?

Carol: The most important thing is I had a lot of peace and quiet.

Diane: Yeah, that’s the best, right? Peace and quiet. It’s nothing like that.

Carol: Yes.

Diane: You get a lot of work done. What did you want to discuss today on this podcast?

Carol: I think it’s a good podcast to discuss the power of creation statement that I offer everybody to join us in saying at the start of each episode. It’s something that we’ve created to help you take ownership of the things that you’ve created in your life, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Because the fact is that everything in your existence, you yourself have created.

Diane: Mm-hmm. That’s interesting.

Carol: It is. So the key point here is that nobody has to teach you how to manifest. You’re already a master manifester.
You just have to learn how to hone that power to create what you want instead of what you don’t want.

Diane: Yes. And a lot of people do create things that they don’t want. That’s the problem.
So the power of creation, what exactly does that mean? The power of creation, that we have the power. We create every day and what we have in our life. Is that correct?

Carol: Or you’re standing in your power as the creator of your life. Yes. That’s why I didn’t name it the creation of power statement because you’re not creating power. Your power is creating your awareness, your situation, your circumstances.

Diane: So we create, like we said in the previous one, we create everything in our life, the people in our life, the world outside, and that’s actually in the past. Every time we look outside, that’s not, that’s our reality, but that’s in the past. We created that from our past beliefs.

Carol: Well, there’s a delay between when you try to manifest something and when it appears in this reality. So what you’re living now is based on your past assumptions and the majority of your thought and vibration that you’ve been offering. So but a lot of people don’t look to the inside to change the outside.

See everything comes from within you and then is mirrored and reflected back to you from the outside. So if you don’t like the things that you’re seeing in your outside, you don’t change them on the outside. You change your vibration on the inside and then that will either change to match it or fall away of its own weight.

Diane: Right. Right. A lot of people don’t look at it that way.

Carol: Yeah, your tomorrow will be based on what you’re doing and thinking and believing right now.

Diane: Mm hmm. Yeah. So people say, well, I want good things in my life. I try to concentrate on things that I do want, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Carol: So no, it does work. It’s just not manifesting what you want.

Diane: Yeah. And why is that?

Carol: And that is the difference between focusing on what you want or the lack of what you want.

Diane: Yes. So most people have that again, uh, focusing on things that they think they can’t have because it’s actually what you believe in focusing on things you want. But then again, you’re thinking in your head, well, I can’t have that. I can’t just do that. How can that happen? I don’t, you know, I don’t have the money or whatever it is.

Carol: Or, or that you’ve been trying for so long and it still hasn’t appeared yet. That’s a big one too. People look to the outside world as the confirmation that what they’re doing is correct, but they have to understand that the outside world is reflecting what you’ve already done in the past. It’s not, it’s not reflecting what you’re doing right now.

Diane: Yeah. And that’s, that’s a thing that people don’t really know about, I think, or, or really, um, have. I don’t know if anybody besides Neville Goddard has discussed that probably, uh, you know, that your reality right now of what you see and what people in your life and what you see outside of you is what you thought of in the past. Those were your beliefs and thoughts that was in your past. So you can change all that focusing on the now, correct?

Carol: Well focusing on what you want, focusing on what you want to create as opposed to what you don’t want to create. So if you have, if you have neighbors that you don’t like and are not very kind and courteous, continuing to focus on them and their behavior only manifests more of that.

Diane: It brings them more into your focus too.

Carol: Well, it manifests more of it because you’re focusing on it for so long.

Diane: Yeah. A lot of it’s focused.

Carol: It’s the same thing. If you, if you want money and abundance, but you focus on the fact that it’s not there yet and how am I going to pay my bills, then you’re focusing on the lack of money, not, not having money.

Diane: So what I do just as an example, a lot of times is when, even when I wake up, I focus before I even go to work on what I am grateful for, things that I feel that I am grateful for now in this life before I focus on anything else or things that I don’t like or things I don’t like in a job. I focus on I’m grateful for my car, my living, my living home, where I’m living, things that make me happy because you start feeling grateful and happy about that because of, you know, you wake up and you start focusing on things you hate or things that happened yesterday. You’re bringing it right back into your focus.

What do you think, Carol?

Carol: Yeah. And that’s why gratitude is one of the quickest ways to raise your vibration. You know, what you focus on, the universe will bring you more of.

It answers your, what your vibration is matching, not what you want, not what you say you want. So that’s why it’s important to, to have gratitude for what you do have, even if, you know, a lot of people get stuck because they think, well, if I say I’m grateful for this house, it means I’ll never get another one and I’ll be stuck here and it doesn’t work that way. It doesn’t work that way.

You focus and find the joy in whatever way you can and in the house that you’re in, even if you want something bigger and better and quieter. And that will come. That will come through that focus of gratitude.

When you’re grateful for things, the universe brings you bigger and better things to be grateful for. When you’re ungrateful for things, the universe gives you more things to be ungrateful about. It answers you literally.

Diane: So because especially if you’re focusing on that, if you’re focusing on that as soon as you get up.

Carol: It doesn’t hear the word I don’t want. It just says, well, you know, she keeps talking about this all the time. She must want it. So let’s give her some more.

Diane: Yeah. Universe gives you what you’re focusing on and what your thoughts are constantly. So this is how I try to alleviate that by not doing that, especially in the morning before I start my day to start focusing and going through some things that I’m grateful.

And actually one of my techniques is doing a grateful list, which makes me reflect, especially in the morning. You know, you could do that whenever, but it makes me reflect how grateful that I am on things I have, the people in my life. Before I start focusing on something else that annoys me, I try to go right back into that grateful. What am I grateful for? What am I grateful for?

Carol: It’s hard at first when you’re used to been complaining and going on these rants about things that aren’t working in your life or that you don’t like or that you want to change. And it’s very difficult in the beginning to catch yourself as quickly as possible and to switch that thought around. But the more you do it, the easier it gets.

Diane: Do you have anything that you could maybe help our listeners that you think, I know my grateful list, I do get caught up in things. So I can say 100% of the time, I don’t always focus on what I’m grateful for, but a lot of times I do and I feel my day goes much better, much better in the way I feel and what happens and people in my life. You know, but like I said, we all get annoyed.

Things happen. There’s all different things. What do you feel that works well to besides that being grateful?

Carol: Well, it’s very hard to be grateful when you’re very mad in the moment. So I like to have a few things in my little tricks in my tool belt of scenes or situations that I automatically think about, I automatically get happy. Could be a puppy. It could be Christmas morning. When you think about these things, it stops the downward vibration. Right.

Diane: Yeah. Because it’s all vibration. Yeah.

Once your vibration is taken down a bit, then you know, you can go deeper into that. And then, you know, that’s where a lot of people feel. And like I said, I’ve done that too, you know.

Carol: It really is about the conversations that you have with yourself. I mean, basically you can get to a point where your ego is left to run amok, you know, like an unruly child that is racing through the stores and the parent does nothing, you know. It’s the same thing with the ego.

You have to command the ego aside and tell it to stop and quiet down and see things from your higher perspective in your higher self. Another thing recently my angel team gave me because I was having the same issue with this exact thing. It’s too many conversations going on. So they gave me the words, just, stop creating the misery.

Diane: Mm-hmm.

Carol: And I like that because it immediately makes me take ownership of the fact that the thing I’m bitching about, I myself created, okay.

Diane: Mm-hmm.

Carol: Yes. So I don’t have anybody to blame because nothing is outside of me. I created it.

So bless it for mirroring that back to me and showing me that, but then stop creating it. And it works because I say that to myself and I can automatically stop, switch vibrations and start focusing on things that I do want to manifest.

Diane: Right. Yeah, you do.

Carol: So that’s it. And it’s a simple thing. Stop creating the misery. Stop creating the misery. Yep. Stop creating the misery.

Diane: Yeah. That’s a great way to look at it. And to do, that’s a great technique to remind yourself.

You know what’s great about those things like the grateful list or stop the misery, like you’re saying, a lot of times too what I feel is a good way to bring that into your focus is from wherever you are, leave yourself a note posted on your laptop, your iPad or whatever you’re doing. Just put it in front of you. So you realize that, yes, okay, I’m in a downward spiral and you look at what I’m grateful for.

I’m grateful for my family. What would I have without them? Grateful for this wonderful home I’m living in.

What would I be without that? You know, stop this misery. Stop the misery.

Focus on some nice things in your life, things that bring back the good thoughts.

Carol: If you have time, but sometimes the situation is so intense that it’s too hard to have that big giant long conversation with yourself, which was the issue I was having with my team. So I needed something short, sweet to the point that I could quickly remember that would quickly snap me out of that. And for me, it seems to be working.

Diane: That’s fantastic, yeah.

Carol: Stop creating the misery. Stop creating the misery. It’s not, stop the misery.

Stop the misery. And it’s not misery. It’s just circumstances.

There really is no right or wrong. Everything is just an experience. But for me, it’s making me miserable. So stop creating what makes you miserable.

Diane: Yes, Carol. And another thing that I do, I always have this little note in front of me and say, isn’t it wonderful? Isn’t it wonderful I am here today?

Isn’t it wonderful I’m healthy? Isn’t it wonderful I am financially rich? So, you know, it makes you feel so much better the more you say things that you believe in and it makes you believe that you keep doing this, you know, repetitive phrases a little bit, the more you’ll feel, you’ll feel it.

You’ll feel grateful. You’ll feel a little better, you know, and the other thing I have is all your words, your words and your thoughts create what you’re experiencing. So watch your words and your thoughts because that you will experience.

If it’s not now, it will be soon because, you know, a technique I used one time when I was having a meeting and I really didn’t want the meeting. I was just annoyed that day and I kept saying to myself, this will be a great meeting. I’m going to be my true self.

I’m going to be happy. I’m going to laugh. I’m going to be in a good mood.

Everyone’s going to be in good mood and I’m going to affect their mood. Usually a lot of meetings were just intense. This meeting turned out wonderful.

We were laughing and everything. I honestly have to say things that you truly believe in.

Carol: Because you set the intention

Diane: Yes, it does work.

And that worked for me a hundred percent. There was a technique that I thought would help other people, but you have to set that intent.

Carol: Well, that exactly is the, well, it’s more than, like I said, it’s more than just the words that you say, otherwise affirmations would work for everybody. Like I said, I want a million dollars right now and right now it would be in my bank account. It’s not really the words, it’s the vibration that you hold behind the words that gives them their power.

Diane: And that’s what happened.

Carol: So when you set that intention, you backed it up with the vibration of everybody having this joyful experience and being in a good mood and communicating well together. And that’s what you got. I mean, that really is the power that we hold to create our own circumstances every single time. It’s not once in a while. It’s every single time.

Diane: And don’t you agree you have to believe that because I did that, I felt that, and I said that, you know, maybe a couple of hours before until the meeting happened every once in a while, I kept saying it and I believed it and I said, I am great. This meeting is going to be wonderful. I believed it and I am happy.

We’re going to laugh. Everybody’s going to be in good mood. And it turned out wonderful.

Carol: So I think this was, if you follow the Abraham Hicks, this would be the equivalent of what they call segment intending. That’s basically it is that you break your day up into small bite-sized little segments and you set the intention for that before you walk into it.

Diane: Yes.

Carol: So you’re already going into that with a certain vibration.

Diane: Yes. And it does work. I mean, it’s hard to remember that every segment you do, like you leave the house, that’s a new segment going into your car.

You do forget sometimes, but it would really, when you concentrate and believe that and say it.

Carol: Well, you could just do bigger sections for now. I think a lot of people, you know, it’s very hard. Okay.

Now I’m going to have my cup of coffee. It can be just too much to remember. And I think one of the biggest things for people is that when things aren’t working or they see something they don’t like, they immediately remove their power in creating it and taking ownership of it and taking owner of having the power to change it.

Diane: Right.

Carol: Oh, it’s easy to take credit when things are great. Oh yeah. I did that.

Look what I did. Look what I manifested. But that person?

No. No, I didn’t do that. That’s so outside of me.

Diane: Yeah.

Carol: This is just, this is just that cruel world doing this to me and it’s not. It’s you doing it to yourself and it’s not doing anything to yourself. Everything is just an experience.

It’s your personal preferences that decide whether you like something and want more of it or you don’t like it and you want to be done with it.

Diane: Right.

Carol: The problem is most people focused indefinitely on don’t want it and getting rid of it instead of focusing on what you do want.

Diane: Exactly. Yeah.

Carol: I mean, in theory, it’s very simple. Focus on what you want or as Neville would say, live in the end and be that person. Right?

Diane: Right.

Carol: And then, and you will, you will become that person. You will have that. You will manifest it.

But we don’t. We focus on all the other things.

Diane: Right. Yeah.

Carol: Because that’s the other thing too. The person that you want to become or that you’re trying to manifest. How would that person react to the same situation?

That’s another question you could stop and ask yourself. Right. How, if I want to be a rich person, how would a rich person react to an unexpected bill?

Diane: Exactly.

Carol: Are they reacting to it the way I am?

Diane: No. I’m not screaming, yelling, I can’t do this, I can’t pay this, the bill went up.

Carol: I’m going to be on the street. You know? Yeah.
Yeah.

Diane: They would just pay and say, wonderful. Paid off. It’s paid off.
Gone.

Carol: Well, it doesn’t mean they’re happy about it, but you know, they’re not going to react in the same way. No.

Diane: A lot of people go into it with that mind frame, I don’t have the money, I can’t do this. I’m getting annoyed. It keeps going up, this bill and whatever.

And right there, you’re really taking that downward spiral. So, that’s what’s difficult today, to, you know, look at abundance and then look at what you’re saying and thinking is two different things.

Carol: Well, it’s also good because when you look at the world that you’ve created around you, everything is mirroring back to you.

Diane: Right. Mm-hmm.

Carol: Everything. It’s mirroring back to you exactly what’s going on. I mean, you don’t even have to sit there really and play detective and guess.

Diane: Right. Yeah. It is mirroring back to you everything in your life.

Carol: Yeah.

Diane: Yeah.

Carol: It’s mirroring back to you the vibration you’re offering about every subject in your life. Job, career, friendships, love, family, money, right?

Health. And your law of assumption is assuming, you assume the identity of what you want to become and you assume that identity now, even though the outside world is not reflecting that back to you yet.

Diane: Yes.

Carol: But you keep your faith in that assumption and it will.

Diane: Yes.

Carol: But I’m talking about just what it’s reflecting back to you now.

Diane: Right. What it’s reflecting now is what you’re thinking of.

Carol: It’s showing you what’s going on with you. So unless you change what’s going on inside of you, you just keep manifesting more of the same or worse.

Diane: Yes.

Carol: Worse than this.

Diane: Because the universe looks at it like, oh, she keeps thinking and focusing on this. She still wants more of the same. Let’s give her more.

Carol: Let’s give her more. Every once in a while she says about having nice, kind neighbors. Well, the majority of the time all they do is bitch about neighbors. So give her more neighbors to bitch about. Everyone’s always complaining about car problems.

Diane: Yeah.

Carol: Well, give her more car problems to complain about.

Diane: And it’s true. This actually happens. People struggle with this because they don’t realize that the more you focus on what you believe, oh, you see, oh, car problems, but you may have saw someone else have a car problem and you started thinking about, oh, God.

Carol: My car is kind of old, I don’t know.

Diane: Then you go out and your car doesn’t start, something happens. It’s because you were let down that path of believing you saw someone else have a problem with the car and realize that there could be car problems. So then you have a car problem.

I mean, it really does tend to, you know, lead to that.

Carol: But here’s the thing, because we always tend to look at this as an example when it’s things we don’t like to see that we would like to change or be rid of in our lives. But if everything in your life is mirroring something back to you, then there’s a lot of good to being mirrored back to you. And that’s what you need to focus on.

When you see something or someone in your life that you love, brings you a lot of joy and happiness, that’s what you need to focus on, offer more of that vibration, then you’ll have more of that in your life all the time. I mean, everybody has some good in their life that, you know, I don’t know, maybe it’s just a red pair of sneakers. That’s all you have is one red pair of sneakers that brings you complete and total joy.

Well then focus on that 24 hours a day. And you’ll have more things that bring you joy like those red sneakers.

Diane: Yes. How happy you are to have them, grateful you are, I mean, you know, you could look at it that way. Some people have no shoes. I think so.

Carol: Some people have closets full of them. Yeah.

Diane: It just depends. You focus on your abundance.

Carol: Well, it’s funny because when you think about it, right, when you think about it, when we all came to this world, none of us had shoes.

Diane: No.

Carol: So there you go.

Diane: Barefooted babies.

Carol: We had nothing. Everything from the day you’re born, you’ve manifested. Yeah.

Diane: People in your life, I mean, most of the beliefs and things that you truly believe now has come from whoever raised you and the world you lived in. And some of this stuff may have been really bad. Some may have been really good, depending on your life.

But now as you get older, you need to focus on what you want, you truly desire to get that abundance and happiness. You have to focus on things that you truly want in your life and how you want to be. And let that reflect back to you how you truly feel.

You can say, well, I feel good. I feel good. But I have money.

I do have money. I have a job But. There’s all that time is that but.

You need to focus more on yourself, believing the good.

Carol: Well, I also think, and we’ll get into this in another episode. I think I mentioned this in the previous episode. I do also feel that whatever you want to call them, blocks, triggers, whatever, they will keep resurfacing in your life until you bless and heal the energy and then cut it loose.

I really feel, I really feel until that’s done, you will keep doing this because your soul wants to grow from this. Your soul is here to learn and grow from every experience. And if you’re still getting hung up on certain blocks, then you haven’t grown from that yet.

So it will keep repeating. You know, you know, you know what repeating cycles are in your life, things that no matter where you go, where you do, you keep running into the same type of people or living in the same thing or having the same job experiences or, you know, you know what those are. So I do, we’ll, we’ll get into some cord cutting with Archangel Michael, which really helps with that.

It really helps with that. But to do that first, you have to understand what those blocks and triggers are.

Diane: Right.

Carol: And I’m really am a list person. I love lists. Create a list.

These are all the good things in my life. These are all the bad things in my life. This bad thing has been happening for 25 years everywhere I go. That’s what I see. That’s something that needs to be healed.

Diane: And why does that keep reappearing?

Carol: Because it hasn’t been healed. I need to heal it and release it. And then once those blocks are healed and release, you’re not as triggered by that anymore.

So then you can grow. You can grow because you won’t offer the same vibration when you do encounter that. So then soon those instances will be fewer and far between, or they’ll just fall completely out of your life.

I think this was a good conversation so far. Anything you want to add right now?

Diane: How everybody struggles with things, but to truly get past.

Carol: Everybody does, Everybody does.

Diane: Truly get past your downfalls is like Carol said, to work on that and heal that and release it. And then truly believe in yourself. You have to really believe in your abundance and believe that…

Carol: And your power.

Diane: Yeah. And your power.

Your power, which just goes back to your power of creation statement. Believe that you can do and be what you want and have what you want, but you have to let go of the past, heal the past, and try to focus on the good in your life. Grateful. Grateful.

Carol: Exactly. Gratitude is a wonderful, wonderful thing. We actually… And we will release this in another episode as well too, but we actually created an entire gratitude song.

Diane: Yeah. That was really good.

Carol: Because there’s nothing that gets you in the happier mood for most people. I’ll say that.

Not everybody, but music. To sing a song of gratitude and just you’ll be so amazed at how quickly it snowballs into all the things you throw into the song that you just don’t even realize you’re so grateful for.

Diane: Yeah. That’s true.

Carol: And that you have.

Diane: And people don’t realize, I don’t know if some people do, but everyone has their own team and guides. And believe it or not…

Carol: Spirit team. Your spirit team. Yes.
Angelic team. Yes.

Diane: Your spirit team, guides, angelic team is always with you and they’re always for you.

Carol: And they are always there to help you. They’re just waiting for you to ask.

Diane: They are there. Just ask for help.

Carol: You have to ask for help. Though they won’t intervene without your permission and you give them permission by asking for help and then asking to be shown signs that they are helping you and they will always deliver that.

Diane: They’ll never leave you alone. I mean, we all struggle with that because we all rely on our senses and our eyes, but they are there. Many times I’ve asked and they came through, they’ve shown me.

Naturally Carol at time when she gets her downloads and they told her to tell me what was reflected in my life, what was there and it was there. It was there. So, you know, don’t think it’s all hogwash because there’s so many different, uh, things out there, uh, techniques and, uh, and your, and your angel team guides and all that can help you through.

Carol: That’s right.

Diane: Yeah.

Carol: So they’re just waiting to be asked.

Diane: So there’s a lot more to discuss and there’s a lot more things we will be discussing. Um, it’s going to be very exciting because Carol also gets a lot of downloads from her angelic team and we will share that along the way. Um, she’s helped a lot of people that way too. So, um, please stay with us because we’re going to have a lot more exciting things and discussions.

Carol: Yep.

Diane: Anything else Carol?

Carol: No, no. I think that was, that was, uh, some good information. Hopefully some of those things we discussed can help pull you out of, uh, any tailward spins that you might be going through in your life.

And um, we’ll get into more, more in depth as to how some of these techniques really work. And we will devise some breath work and meditations and it’s going to be good. We got a lot of content coming, so.

Diane: So everyone have a happy holiday.

Carol: And Happy New Year. New Year’s eve is coming up.

Diane: Yeah. New year’s happy 2025 coming up. Wow. Amazing.

Carol: There you go. That’s another thing right there to be grateful for, full of gratitude that, well, I survived this long of the year.

Diane: Okay. So we’ll talk to you soon.

Carol: We’ll see you next year.

Diane: Any comments. Okay. Thank you.

Carol: Thank you. Bye.
